I'm doing a nutrion program and was recently informed that not only do bell peppers taste horrible, bitter and gross, but are also nightshades. Why, oh why do people intentionally place them into food, which is meant to go into our mouths?

Why does sweet and sour pork/chicken has to have bits o' bell pepper? Like it doesnt have a confliction of flavor going on! Hello... sweet AND sour isnt enough!

The worst thing about bell peppers is that it makes EVERYTHING else in your meal no matter if its lettuce, meat,etc taste like bell peppers it obliterates all other flavors.

yellow peppers

I have to disagree on the anti-yellow pepper thing. While not as good as the red, the are at least edible in my book
